Be a Lady offer a variety of services for our clients, to allow you to live your life as freely as you want. From Storage Solutions to a Chaperone Service, Photo Sessions, and Finishing School. Below is our full-service selection.
Secure Storage: The perfect solution for your personal wardrobe, with options to not only store your outfits, but also to dispatch to your chosen address, be that a designated Post Office, a drop2shop location, or collection from a Nice ‘n’ Naughty store.
With each dispatch, we will include a returns label, so you are able to return your items back to storage, easily and securely.
Make-up Tutorials: Experience the art of application with one-to-one tuition from our very own experienced make-up artist.
One-to-One Dressing Service: Spend time with a member of our experienced team and discover the perfect outfits and styles for you.
Chaperone Service: If you are looking to venture out, but would prefer not to do it alone? We have the perfect chaperone to help you walk into any room.
Personalised Photoshoot: If you are looking to refresh your photos, and are looking for a professional finish, we can arrange a personalised photoshoot package just for you.
Be A Lady Finishing School: Spend time and hang out with the ladies working at Be a Lady, and take advantage of their vast knowledge. With tips on walking in heels, choosing the right wig, deciding on the right breast size and all the other important decisions. At our finishing school you will learn how to dress to impress and create the perfect look for you
Cleaning Service: Along with the storage solution, if you require any of your returned items to be cleaner so they are ready to wear the next time, then we can arrange a cleaning solution for your items, so you know, when your outfit arrives back to you, it just needs to be slipped on and zipped up!
Be a Lady has a dedicated, secure facility to store your belongings. You will be allocated a personal storage box, with a unique contract number. Each box holds 52Ltsm and are lidded to ensure the contents remain safe, secure and in their original stored condition.
Your contract number will be used to identify your personal ‘wardrobe’ when you are requesting items or returning items to your ‘wardrobe’. You will need this when requesting some or all of your items to be dispatched to your chosen location , and also when returning items back to your ‘wardrobe’ for us to re-book in and keep safe till their next outing.
That will depend on how many items your wish to store with us, but each box holds 52lts and is lidded. We will also provide you with a number of mail bags, allowing you to separate your items into outfits within the storage box. This will give you the option to choose specific outfits to be dispatched to you. Simply by supplying your contact number, your chosen destination and the number of the outfit bag you require, we can dispatch the exact items you need for your desired look.
Unfortunately, yes. We supply a list of prohibited items when entering into the contract with Be a Lady, but you can view the list below.
Food and/or perishable goods
Money in the form of cash or equivalent
Birds, fish, animals, plants, genetic material or another living creature.
Combustible or flammable materials or liquids. For example gas, paint, petrol, oil or cleaning solvents.
Firearms, explosives, weapons or ammunition.
Chemical, radioactive materials, biological agents, toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a potentially dangerous nature.
Anything which emits fumes, smells or odour.
Anything unlawful, including illegal substances or goods illegally obtained.
Compressed gases.
If you are in any doubt as to whether any of your goods fall into any of the categories above, you must seek the advice of the Be a lady team who will be happy to assist you.
To cancel your storage box(s), Be a Lady require 30 days’ notice. Box deposits will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation. Prepaid rental fees will not be refunded.
We request 48 hours’ notice to ship your belongings to your chosen address. The cut off time for the courier is 2.30pm – Monday to Friday.
If you require a Saturday delivery, please contact us in advance.
Be a Lady accept a number of payment options including Credit Card, PayPal, Instore Payment, and Bank Transfer. We can take payments in advance or on a monthly standing order.
Due to the discretion of our business, we will endeavour to try and accommodate a payment option tailored to your needs.
NB. PayPal and credit card payments have an additional 3.5% admin fee.
Yes, we can accept cash payments. Either send by registered insured post via Royal Mail/courier or at our stores in Chester and Warrington or our storage facility. Please ask for further details.
Goods are stored at your own risk.
You may during the term of the Agreement have insurance cover in place for at least the full replacement value of all goods stored in the Storage Space. This amount may be greater than the value or Goods.
We do not give any advice concerning insurance cover given by any policy and You must make Your own judgement as to adequacy of cover.
Unfortunately, we do not offer personal access to the storage facility boxes, although you can request and collect items from them at the Chester & Warrington stores or Warrington warehouse, as long as the required notice has being given.
You can add new boxes at any time and the applicable charges will take effect from the day you request additional storage boxes. We will pro-rata the charges to keep them in line with your existing contract.
If you wish to reduce the number of storage boxes, we will require 30 days’ notice.
The minimum contract period is 3 months. After the initial period, you will be a 30-day rolling contract.
You can update your contact details and replacement value of goods amount at any time during your contract with Be a Lady. Simply contact us with you contract number and advise of the changes. We will update our records and ensure your new details are used for any correspondence moving forward.
If you require us to dispose of some or all of the contents of your storage box, we can. However, we will require your request in writing, listing the items you wish us to dispose of, before we can sort.
We always complete a consultation before beginning any makeover, in order to uncover the condition of your skin & to discuss the products that you are currently using.
Using makeup photos from our library, we can establish the look you would like to create, or you can supply your own image for us to work towards recreating following a brief discussion (lighting, hair colour, skin colour & age of the model in your picture etc)
In preparation for the makeover, there is no need for you to do anything to your skin before you arrive unless you have a moustache or beard then it is advised to shave prior to your arrival. However, if this is permanent facial hair, we can work with this, but it will not be disguised so bare this in mind when creating your desired look. It is also advised that nose hair should be cut prior to your appointment.
When shaped well, the eyebrows can really highlight the eye area and the makeup once applied. We would recommend that the eyebrows ideally be shaped before the appointment to avoid irritation.
Recommendations can be made for waxing locally but if you are unable to have them professionally shaped, makeup can still be applied but again, please take this into consideration when creating your desired look.
Your makeup can be removed at no extra cost upon request.
Eyelashes and nails will be available at an additional small cost on the day depending on the look you are trying to achieve & whether we would recommend them to complete your preferred look or not. If you know that these will be required prior to your appointment please request them at the booking stage.
The skincare and makeup products used at your appointment can be noted and kept on file should you wish to order any of the products at a later date or would like a future appointment. This will be at your discretion.
We are happy to advise about a personalised skincare routine and how certain products will benefit you.
We offer the cleaning and maintenance of your wigs at your request. If you wish your wig to be restyled, we can arrange this with a professional stylist at an additional cost.
We offer a full dressing service. This can be done at either one of our stores,where we can assist in your choice of purchases or at the Be a Lady head office where we can hand pick a range of outfits in your size for you to try on. If you prefer a personal shopper, we can arrange a bespoke package to fit your needs.
Yes – all boxes are supplied by Be a Lady. Each box is 52lt
Yes, you can. All we require is 24 hours’ notice, to allow us to retrieve your storage box from its location in our facility. There will be an administration charge of £10 for retrieval and restoring of your box, and this collection is only available from the storage facility, located at Unit B1, Basement, The Hive WA1, 27-31 Sankey Street, Warrington, WA1 1SW
If you wish to collect from one of our stores, we will ship your items out in the usual manner.
The Contract with Be a Lady will be with one individual. If you however decide to share your box with a friend, then that will be a decision between yourselves. All correspondence to and from Be a Lady will be with the Contract Holder only.
If we do not receive your payments, we will contact you as per the terms of our contract. If we are unable to contact you and no payment has been made, we will dispose of your belongings (10 days after the contract has been terminated).
Yes, you can drop your belongings off at our store and the staff there will arrange for them to be sent back to the storage facility. The costs associated will remain the same as the shipping and re-storing option.
